Job Summary
The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing team performance, ensuring productivity targets are met, and maintaining a safe and positive work environment. The role involves coordinating staff activities, monitoring workflow, and ensuring company policies and standards are followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of team members
- Assign tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently and on time
- Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and feedback
- Train new employees and support skill development of existing staff
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Handle employee concerns and escalate issues when necessary
- Maintain records, reports, and documentation as required
- Monitor inventory, supplies, or operational resources (if applicable)
- Support management in achieving departmental goals and KPIs
- Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred, depending on industry)
- 1–5 years of relevant work experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage time effectively and multitask
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, reporting systems, etc.)
