Role Overview
We are looking for a Social Media Manager who can act as the primary point of contact for brands while driving comprehensive brand strategies, content ideation, and creative direction across Instagram and LinkedIn. This role requires a unique blend of strategic vision and execution—someone who understands social media as a brand-building tool, excels at client servicing, and can lead content calendar management from concept to approval.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Planning: Develop monthly content strategies explicitly aligned with client business and marketing objectives. Analyze audience behavior and content performance to actively shape future brand and creative strategies.
- Content Ideation & Scripting: Brainstorm and conceptualize campaigns, unique content series, and social-first ideas. Stay on top of platform trends, cultural moments, and industry developments to identify immediate content opportunities. Utilize basic copywriting skills to assist with scripting and content hooks.
- Creative Direction: Translate high-level client goals into highly actionable creative briefs for designers, video editors, and content teams. Work hand-in-hand with creative teams to bring ideas to life while ensuring strict content quality, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Content Calendar Management: Lead end-to-end content planning, calendar management, and client approval workflows. Maintain organized content tracking and scheduling using Microsoft Excel and Airtable.
- Client Servicing & Communication: Serve as the dedicated, primary point of contact (POC) for assigned brand accounts. Manage stakeholder communication, coordinate feedback loops, and lead client review meetings to present performance insights and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Must-Haves:
- 1-2 years of experience in social media management, account management, or digital marketing.
- Proven experience creating robust content strategies and innovative campaign ideas.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of the Instagram and LinkedIn content ecosystems.
- Proficiency in Airtable and Microsoft Excel for content planning, calendar tracking, and reporting.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities with the skill to handle multiple brand strategies and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfortable working with performance data and translating metrics into actionable recommendations.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-oriented mindset.
Good to Have:
- Experience working in a creative or social media agency environment.
- Basic copywriting and scripting skills.
- Experience coordinating content shoots and creator collaborations.
