The Service Manager is responsible for managing the complete service center operations, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, efficient workshop performance, quality repairs, and achievement of service targets. The role includes team management, customer handling, process improvement, and maintaining manufacturer/service standards.
Key Responsibilities:1. Workshop Operations Management
- Manage daily service center operations and workflow.
- Ensure smooth vehicle reception, job card creation, repair process, quality check, and delivery.
- Monitor technician productivity and workshop efficiency.
- Ensure timely completion of service jobs.
2. Customer Satisfaction Management
- Handle escalated customer complaints and provide effective solutions.
- Ensure excellent customer experience throughout the service process.
- Monitor customer feedback, ratings, and satisfaction scores.
- Maintain strong customer relationships for repeat business.
3. Team Management
- Lead and motivate service advisors, technicians, washing staff, and support team.
- Allocate jobs based on technician skills and workload.
- Conduct regular training and performance reviews.
- Ensure discipline, grooming, and professional behavior among staff.
4. Quality Control
- Ensure vehicles are repaired according to company standards.
- Conduct final inspection before vehicle delivery.
- Reduce repeat repairs and improve service quality.
- Maintain proper documentation and service records.
5. Business & Target Achievement
- Achieve service revenue, customer retention, and productivity targets.
- Monitor spare parts usage and labour sales.
- Improve workshop capacity utilization.
- Promote service packages, accessories, and value-added services.
6. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure workplace safety practices are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and 5S standards in the workshop.
- Ensure proper handling of tools, equipment, and hazardous materials.
- Follow company and manufacturer guidelines.

Qualification:
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering preferred.
- Experience in two wheeler service industry.
- Knowledge of dealership service operations is an advantage.
