About the Role
We are looking for a creative and passionate Video Editor Fresher to join our creative team at Cuttingchaai. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for storytelling, strong editing skills, and the ability to transform raw footage into engaging visual content for brands and social media platforms.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating engaging video content for social media, digital campaigns, advertisements, and brand promotions.
- Edit raw footage into compelling videos with smooth transitions, effects, music, and animations.
- Understand project requirements and translate creative ideas into visually appealing videos.
- Work closely with the creative team, designers, and content team to develop video concepts.
- Select appropriate music, sound effects, graphics, and visual elements to enhance storytelling.
- Ensure videos are optimized for different platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).
- Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and project requirements.
- Organize and manage video assets, footage, and project files efficiently.
- Stay updated with the latest video trends, editing styles, and social media formats.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Film Making, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of video editing principles, storytelling, pacing, and composition.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation will be an added advantage.
- A strong portfolio/showreel of personal or academic projects is preferred.
