About the Role:
HighLevel is looking for a passionate & seasoned SDET for its Full-time remote engineering team in India. You will be responsible for ensuring that the new releases we make for features, enhancements, or new products meet the strict standards of quality & consistency. The buck stops at you and you will have the final say on the correctness, reliability & consistency of our builds.
- Taking ownership of the quality of deliverables, encompassing new features and enhancements
- Collaborating closely with the product and engineering teams to comprehend requirements and user workflows
- Identifying and addressing quality assurance process bottlenecks for continuous improvement
- Crafting efficient manual test cases and conducting functional, ad hoc, and regression testing
- Demonstrating strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail, especially in managing multiple test executions simultaneously
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Min 5 years Experience in utilizing defect tracking systems to report, track, and resolve defects
- Proficiency in API testing and performance testing using tools such as JMeter and Postman
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JS, and browser debugging/console tools
- Test automation experience, preferably with Selenium or any other relevant framework
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Familiarity with at least one source control system, such as Git or SVN
- Good comprehension of Agile software development methodology (Kanban or Scrum) and the role of QA within it
- Good programming skills (Java / Ruby / Python / Node.Js / JavaScript)
- Good knowledge on Object Oriented Programming concepts and Design Patterns
- Hands on knowledge of Test Automation approaches, Frameworks and Tools
- Hands on knowledge of CI-CD tools such as Codemagic/Jenkins/Bitrise
