Job Summary
We are looking for a PPC Engineer with prior experience in the steel industry, particularly with HR Coil and HR Sheets. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, material planning, inventory coordination, production scheduling, and ensuring timely completion of orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and production capacity.
- Plan and monitor production activities for HR Coil, HR Sheets, and steel products.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Dispatch, and Sales departments.
- Monitor availability and consumption of raw materials, especially HR Coil and steel sheets.
- Prepare Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and ensure timely availability of materials.
- Track production progress against planned targets and identify deviations.
- Maintain production reports, stock records, and planning sheets.
- Coordinate with the production team to minimize material wastage, downtime, and production delays.
- Prepare daily production MIS and management reports.
- Maintain proper records of production, material consumption, rejection, wastage, and dispatch.
- Follow up on pending orders and ensure production schedules are achieved within the required timelines.
- Analyze production data and suggest improvements in productivity and material utilization.
Required Technical Knowledge
- Prior experience in the steel manufacturing/fabrication industry is mandatory/preferred.
- Good knowledge of HR Coil (Hot Rolled Coil) and HR Sheets.
- Understanding of steel grades, thickness, width, sizes, weight calculations, and material consumption.
- Basic understanding of steel processing and fabrication operations.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, sorting/filtering, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and MIS preparation.
- Knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and material management.
- Ability to prepare and maintain production schedules and reports.
Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in PPC/Production Planning, preferably in the steel industry.

Preferred Candidate
Candidates currently working in steel manufacturing, sheet processing, fabrication, or related industries with practical knowledge of HR Coil/HR Sheets and strong Excel skills will be preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
