About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic SEO Intern to join our Digital Marketing team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of search engine optimization and a keen interest in learning about website ranking, keyword research, and content optimization. This role offers hands-on experience in implementing SEO strategies and improving online visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and identify opportunities for content optimization.
- Assist in on-page SEO activities, including meta titles, descriptions, headers, and internal linking.
- Support off-page SEO initiatives such as backlink analysis and link-building activities.
- Monitor website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Perform competitor analysis and track industry trends.
- Assist in creating SEO reports and performance dashboards.
- Coordinate with content and web development teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented.
- Identify technical SEO issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Optimize existing website content to improve search rankings and organic traffic.
- Stay updated with the latest search engine algorithms and SEO trends.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts and digital marketing.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and website structure is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms.
- Understanding of content marketing and keyword optimization.
- Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
