Job Description: Mechatronics Engineer Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Mechatronics Engineer to design, develop, and maintain our next generation of automated systems and intelligent machinery. In this role, you will bridge the gap between mechanical design, electrical systems, and software engineering. You will be responsible for creating cohesive, smart solutions—from initial concept and prototyping to final integration and troubleshooting on the production floor. Key Responsibilities System Design & Integration: Design and integrate mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems into unified, automated machinery or robotic systems. Automation & Control: Develop, program, and test control systems, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), microcontrollers, SCADA systems, and HMI interfaces. Robotics & Motion Control: Implement and calibrate motion control systems, servo drives, actuators, and pneumatic/hydraulic components. Embedded Software: Write, debug, and optimize embedded software and firmware (C/C++, Python) for real-time system monitoring and control. Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct rigorous diagnostic testing, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting on complex electro-mechanical assemblies to resolve performance issues. Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Electrical, and Software) to ensure project alignment. Create detailed technical documentation, schematics, and user manuals. Required Skills & Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field. Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor) and ECAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, AutoCAD Electrical). Strong programming skills in PLC languages (Ladder Logic, Structured Text) and languages like C, C++, or Python. Solid understanding of sensors, data acquisition (DAQ) systems, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, CAN bus, Profinet). Experience: 2–5 years of experience in automation, robotics, or electro-mechanical product development (level can be adjusted for Junior/Senior roles). Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative team mindset.
