1. POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for driving jewellery sales, achieving assigned sales targets, handling customers professionally, providing accurate product information, generating repeat business and ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
The candidate must have strong experience in the jewellery retail industry and should be confident in handling gold and diamond jewellery customers, including high-value customers.
2. Sales Achievement
- Convert showroom walk-ins into successful sales.
- Drive sales through effective product presentation and customer engagement.
- Upsell and cross-sell suitable jewellery products.
- Promote new collections, offers and special products.
- Focus on increasing average bill value and overall sales conversion.
- Develop repeat business and customer referrals.
B. Customer Handling
- Welcome and attend customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Understand customer requirements, preferences, occasion and budget.
- Recommend suitable jewellery designs according to the customer's needs.
- Handle premium and high-value customers with proper attention and professionalism.
- Explain product details, weight, purity, making charges, pricing and other applicable information accurately.
- Build strong and long-term relationships with customers.
- Resolve customer queries professionally and escalate complaints when required.
C. Jewellery Product Knowledge
- Maintain strong knowledge of gold, diamond and other jewellery products.
- Understand basic jewellery terminology, purity, hallmarking and diamond specifications.
- Keep updated about new collections, designs and market trends.
- Clearly explain product specifications and benefits to customers.
- Ensure that no incorrect or unauthorized information is communicated to customers.
D. Customer Follow-Up & Lead Management
- Follow up with prospective customers after showroom visits.
- Follow up on quotations, enquiries and pending purchase decisions.
- Maintain proper records of customer enquiries and follow-ups.
- Contact existing customers regarding new collections and relevant offers.
- Generate repeat sales through effective customer relationship management.
- Develop customer references and personal sales leads.
E. Sales Process & Coordination
- Follow the company's sales process and SOPs at all times.
- Ensure accurate customer information and required documentation.
- Coordinate with the billing and accounts teams for smooth completion of sales.
- Coordinate with purchase/stock teams whenever required.
- Ensure proper handover of jewellery for billing and delivery.
- Do not make any unauthorized commitment regarding discounts, pricing, exchange, delivery or other company policies.
F. Team Support
- Support Junior Sales Executives in customer handling and sales conversion.
- Guide junior team members regarding product presentation and customer service.
- Share product knowledge and effective sales techniques with team members.
- Assist the Senior Sales Officer / Store Manager in maintaining sales discipline.
- Support the team during rush hours and high customer footfall.
- Report customer concerns, operational issues and stock-related issues to the reporting manager immediately.
G. Jewellery Handling & Security
- Follow all jewellery handling and security procedures strictly.
- Handle jewellery carefully while showing products to customers.
- Ensure products are properly returned to their designated location after customer viewing.
- Follow showroom CCTV and security procedures.
- Ensure no jewellery is left unattended.
- Immediately report any discrepancy, damage, loss or suspicious activity to the reporting manager.
3. DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Check daily sales targets and pending customer follow-ups.
- Attend customers promptly and professionally.
- Understand customer requirements and present suitable products.
- Conduct customer follow-ups and update records.
- Maintain proper product presentation.
- Ensure accurate communication of product and pricing details.
- Coordinate with billing, accounts and other departments when required.
- Support junior sales staff.
- Report daily sales performance and important customer matters to the reporting manager.
4. KRAs / PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Performance will be evaluated based on:
- Achievement of assigned sales targets.

6. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
- Minimum Experience: 3 years.
- Mandatory Industry Experience: Candidates must have prior experience in the Jewellery Industry / Jewellery Retail Showroom.
- Experience in Gold, Diamond or Jewellery Showrooms will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in other retail industries but without jewellery industry experience will not be considered.
- Qualification: Graduate preferred.
- Candidates must possess strong jewellery product knowledge and sales experience.

- Strictly follow assigned duty timings.
- Maintain proper uniform, hygiene and professional grooming.
- Hair must be neatly tied in a bun.
- Maintain minimal and professional makeup.
- Wear minimal jewellery while on duty.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales area.
- Maintain respectful behaviour with customers, colleagues and seniors.
- Remain calm and professional during rush hours.
- Maintain showroom discipline and decorum.
- Follow all instructions issued by the reporting manager and management.
8. CODE OF CONDUCT & CONFIDENTIALITY
- Maintain professional conduct at all times.
- Treat customers, colleagues and seniors with respect.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information, company information, pricing and business-related data.
- Do not share confidential company or customer information with unauthorized persons.
- Do not use the company's name, contact details or office resources for personal purposes without authorization.
- Any misconduct, misbehaviour, negligence, dishonesty or violation of company policies may result in disciplinary action.
9. REPORTING & ACCOUNTABILITY
The Senior Sales Executive will be directly accountable for assigned sales targets, customer handling, follow-ups and overall sales performance.
All customer complaints, operational issues, stock discrepancies, suspicious activities or other important matters must be immediately reported to the Senior Sales Officer / Store Manager.
The employee is expected to take complete ownership of assigned customers and responsibilities and work towards achieving the showroom's overall sales objectives.
10. EMPLOYEE EXPECTATION
The Senior Sales Executive is expected to represent Right Gold professionally, maintain high standards of customer service, demonstrate strong jewellery knowledge and contribute consistently towards showroom sales and customer satisfaction.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
