About the Role
TRIKA ASSOCIATES is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated AutoCAD Draftsman/Draftswoman to join our team in Surat. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD and supporting the design team in various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
- Prepare and modify drawings as per project requirements and instructions.
- Develop detailed plans, sections, elevations, and layouts.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other team members for drawing requirements.
- Make revisions and updates to drawings based on feedback.
- Ensure drawings follow required standards, dimensions, and specifications.
- Maintain proper organization and documentation of drawing files.
- Assist in preparing project-related drawings and documentation.
- Conduct basic site measurements and site visits when required.
Requirements
- Diploma, ITI, or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Freshers and candidates with 0–2 years of experience can apply.
- Good understanding of technical drawings and measurements.
- Ability to read and understand drawings.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of MEP, HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical drawings will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Knowledge of Revit or other drafting software will be an added advantage.
