We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our Stainless Steel (SS) Water Bottle New Product Development Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, product designs, manufacturing drawings, and development documentation for new stainless steel bottle models and related accessories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare 2D and 3D drawings for new SS water bottle designs and components.
- Develop detailed manufacturing, assembly, and tooling drawings.
- Coordinate with the Product Development, Design, Tool Room, and Production teams to convert concepts into production-ready designs.
- Create and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials), technical specifications, and engineering documents.
- Modify existing drawings based on product improvements and customer requirements.
- Ensure all drawings comply with manufacturing standards, tolerances, and quality requirements.
- Support prototype development, testing, and product validation activities.
- Maintain proper records and revision control of all technical drawings and documents.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar CAD software.
- Experience in sheet metal, stainless steel products, or consumer product design is preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, dimensions, tolerances, and technical drawings.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced product development environment.
Preferred Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in product design and drafting.
- Experience in stainless steel bottles, drinkware, kitchenware, or metal fabrication products will be an added advantage.
