Over 1.5 million customers and more than a billion people in over 180 countries use Docusign solutions to accelerate the process of doing business and simplify people’s lives. With intelligent agreement management, Docusign unleashes business-critical data that is trapped inside of documents. Until now, these were disconnected from business systems of record, costing businesses time, money, and opportunity. Using Docusign’s Intelligent Agreement Management platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM).
As an App & AI Business System Analyst, you'll be the connective tissue between business needs and system capabilities across our quoting, product introduction, and renewals workflows. You'll partner directly with product managers to translate requirements into well-defined system configurations, process improvements, and scalable solutions to CPQ experiences. AI is central to how you'll work—not a supplement to it. You'll use AI tools actively to accelerate analysis, surface patterns across large datasets, identify failure modes, and generate preemptive recommendations. This role suits someone with growing CPQ depth who operates with increasing autonomy and consistently looks for smarter, AI-augmented approaches to complex problems.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Applications Product Management - Commerce.
Partner with product managers across quoting, product & new business model introduction, and renewals to gather requirements, define user stories, and translate business needs into system-level specifications
Own business analysis and configuration work in Apttus, Salesforce and other applications documenting workflows, mapping data flows, and ensuring solutions are accurate, scalable, and aligned to business intent
Apply AI tools to accelerate end-to-end business analysis—summarizing requirements, generating process documentation, identifying inconsistencies across specs, and surfacing edge cases that manual review would miss
Use AI-assisted analysis to detect patterns in quoting errors, order failures, and provisioning exceptions—turning recurring signals into proactive recommendations before they become incidents
Analyze quoting processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities, using AI to model the downstream impact of proposed changes and prioritize fixes based on business risk and frequency
Support introduction of new products and business models into quoting and ordering systems—validating that product configurations, pricing rules, and contract structures are implemented correctly and reliably
Support renewal workflows by ensuring system configurations accurately reflect subscription terms, amendments, and renewal logic across Apttus, Salesforce and related applications
Leverage AI to build and maintain living documentation—process flows, configuration guides, test cases, and requirements artifacts—that stays current as systems evolve
Execute and coordinate testing for system changes, using AI tools to generate test case coverage, analyze test results, and flag gaps or regressions efficiently
Facilitate alignment discussions across product, engineering, sales operations, and finance—surfacing risks, trade-offs, and dependencies early to keep workstreams on track
Bring recurring issue patterns and AI-generated insights to the team proactively, translating signals into practical recommendations that reduce toil and prevent recurrence
Hybrid:
Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)
Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job.
