We, Calcutta Institute of Technology (CIT), situated at Banitabla, Uluberia, Howrah – 711316, are currently hiring an Industrial Electrician (Licence Holder) for our college campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine electrical maintenance of campus buildings and facilities.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, switches, lights, fans, and power outlets.
- Assist in the maintenance of electrical panels, motors, pumps, generators, and other equipment.
- Identify and rectify electrical faults and breakdowns.
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
- Read and understand basic electrical drawings and diagrams.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Attend emergency electrical repairs when required.
Eligibility:
- Valid Electrical Licence.
- ITI Electrician or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting.
Preference:
- Candidates residing in or near Uluberia, Howrah will be preferred.
Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
