We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR & Payroll Head to lead and manage the organization’s human resources and payroll functions. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth HR operations, accurate payroll processing, and strict compliance with statutory regulations.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Payroll Management
Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for all employees.
Ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement.
Manage payroll inputs including attendance, leave, bonuses, incentives, and deductions.
Handle full & final settlements and salary structuring.
Maintain payroll records and reports.
Generate and manage statutory challans and ensure timely payments.
2. Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
Manage and monitor:
PF (Provident Fund)
ESIC (Employee State Insurance)
PT (Professional Tax)
TDS (Tax Deducted at Source)
Gratuity and Bonus compliance
Coordinate audits and inspections related to labor laws.
Liaise with government authorities and consultants.
3. HR Operations
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
Manage employee lifecycle: onboarding, confirmation, promotion, and exit processes.
Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions.
4. Attendance & Leave Management
Monitor attendance systems and leave records.
Ensure accurate integration of attendance data into payroll.
5. Compensation & Benefits
Design and implement compensation structures.
Administer employee benefits and insurance schemes.
Conduct salary benchmarking and revisions.
Manage and execute employee appraisals using HRMS platforms such as Keka or similar software.
6. Team Management
Lead and supervise the HR and payroll team.
Provide training and guidance to team members.
7. Reporting & MIS
Prepare HR and payroll reports for management.
Analyze data for decision-making and cost optimization.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Commerce, or related field.
- MBA / PGDM in HR or Finance preferred.
Experience:
- 7–10 years of experience in HR and payroll management.
- Proven experience in handling statutory compliances.
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience in challan generation and statutory payment processes.
- Good understanding of HRMS software; experience with Keka or similar platforms preferred.
- Experience in managing performance appraisal processes through HRMS tools (e.g., Keka).
- Expertise in payroll software and HRMS systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
