Job Summary
The Physical Education Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering engaging physical education classes that promote students' physical fitness, healthy lifestyles, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. The teacher also organizes sports activities, competitions, and school athletic events while ensuring student safety during all physical activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate physical education lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Teach a variety of sports, games, fitness exercises, and recreational activities.
- Encourage students to develop healthy habits, physical fitness, and lifelong participation in sports.
- Assess and monitor students' physical performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Organize and supervise school sports events, annual sports days, inter-school competitions, and athletic meets.
- Identify and train students for competitive sports at district, state, and national levels.
- Maintain discipline and ensure student safety during all physical activities.
- Inspect and maintain sports equipment and facilities, reporting any repairs or replacements required.
- Promote teamwork, leadership, fair play, and respect among students.
- Maintain attendance, assessment records, and student progress reports.
- Collaborate with teachers and school administration to support extracurricular activities.
- Stay updated with current physical education practices, coaching techniques, and safety standards.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or Master's Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.).
- Valid teaching certification or license, if required by the governing authority.
- First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
