We are seeking a Structural Engineer with 4–8 years of experience in industrial project engineering and structural design to support the engineering, procurement, construction, and execution phases of industrial process plant projects. The role requires a strong understanding of reinforced concrete (RCC), structural steel design, industrial buildings, equipment foundations, PEB structures, and structural analysis. The engineer will work closely with the internal engineering team, architects, geotechnical consultants, equipment vendors, fabricators, and site teams to ensure that all structural designs comply with project specifications, applicable engineering codes, safety requirements, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Structural Engineering Review & Technical Coordination: Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and review architectural drawings, foundation layouts, structural drawings, vendor inputs, and design calculations.
2. Building & Structural Design: Design and analyse complete RCC and structural steel buildings including foundations, plinth beams, columns, beams, slabs, staircases, roof framing systems, shear walls (where applicable), and structural connections.
3. Foundation Engineering: Design isolated, combined, strip, raft, pile, pedestal, and heavy equipment foundations based on geotechnical reports.
4. Industrial Structures & Heavy Equipment Foundations: Design compressor, pump, vessel, storage tank foundations, pipe racks, platforms, galleries, maintenance structures, and miscellaneous steel considering static, dynamic, wind, and seismic loads.
5. Structural Analysis & Design: Develop analysis models using STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000 or equivalent and prepare structural calculations.
6. Vendor & PEB Coordination: Review vendor drawings, fabrication drawings, PEB designs, and foundation loading data.
7. Quality Assurance & Site Engineering Support: Provide construction support, review reinforcement details, resolve technical queries, inspect structural works, and ensure compliance with approved drawings.
