Position Overview
We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality content for real estate projects, social media campaigns, brand films, and digital marketing.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in video editing, motion graphics, drone footage, drone mapping visuals, and AI-powered editing/content creation tools.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Video Editing – TOP PRIORITY
- Edit high-quality videos for real estate projects, property walkthroughs, project launches, events, campaigns, advertisements, and social media.
- Edit and enhance footage captured through professional cameras, drones, gimbals, and other production equipment.
- Create engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube videos, promotional videos, property videos, corporate videos, and short-form content.
- Handle the complete post-production workflow from raw footage to final delivery.
- Ensure professional pacing, storytelling, transitions, sound design, colour correction, and overall visual quality.
2. Drone Footage & Drone Mapping – HIGH PRIORITY
- Edit and enhance drone footage and aerial property videos.
- Create engaging visuals using drone mapping, aerial shots, site layouts, location mapping, project boundaries, and development progress footage.
- Integrate drone mapping visuals with motion graphics, text, animations, maps, and other visual elements.
- Create cinematic aerial sequences suitable for real estate marketing and project presentations.
- Understanding of drone mapping workflows and software will be a strong advantage.
3. Motion Graphics – COMPULSORY
- Create professional motion graphics, animated text, titles, transitions, infographics, maps, icons, callouts, and visual effects.
- Develop animated property features, location advantages, amenities, specifications, floor plans, and project highlights.
- Create visually engaging graphics that complement real estate marketing videos.
- Use motion graphics to make property and project information easy to understand and visually appealing.
4. AI Tools & AI-Powered Editing – COMPULSORY
- Strong knowledge of AI tools for video editing and content creation is mandatory.
- Use AI tools for video enhancement, editing, background generation/removal, image-to-video, text-to-video, voiceovers, subtitles, scripting, visual effects, and creative production.
- Explore and implement new AI-powered workflows to improve editing efficiency and content quality.
- Stay updated with the latest AI tools and technologies relevant to video production.
- Familiarity with the AI tools currently used by the OyeMarketor creative team will be an added advantage.
5. Creative Content Development
- Work closely with the creative, marketing, and production teams to understand project requirements.
- Convert raw footage and creative briefs into compelling visual stories.
- Suggest creative editing styles, transitions, storytelling techniques, motion graphics, and AI-based solutions.
- Adapt videos according to different platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and digital advertising platforms.
- Stay updated with current social media video trends and editing styles.
6. Colour, Audio & Finalisation
- Perform professional colour correction and basic colour grading.
- Clean and enhance audio, add background music, sound effects, and appropriate audio transitions.
- Ensure correct resolution, aspect ratio, frame rate, compression, and export settings for different platforms.
- Maintain consistency with client branding and visual guidelines.
7. Project & File Management
- Organize raw footage, project files, graphics, music, assets, and final exports systematically.
- Maintain proper project folders and backups.
- Deliver projects within agreed timelines.
- Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Mandatory Requirements
- 1–2 years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong proficiency in professional video editing software.
- Good knowledge of motion graphics is compulsory.
- Working knowledge of AI tools for video editing and content creation is compulsory.
- Strong understanding of drone footage and aerial video editing.
- Knowledge of drone mapping and integrating mapping visuals into marketing videos will be highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, storytelling, transitions, colour correction, and sound design.
- Experience creating content for Instagram Reels, YouTube, Facebook, and digital advertising.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under deadlines.
- Strong creative sense and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in real estate, architecture, advertising, lifestyle, commercial, or digital marketing content.
- Knowledge of After Effects / Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / similar professional editing software.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation.
- Experience editing drone and property walkthrough footage.
- Knowledge of AI video, image, audio, and creative production tools.
- Understanding of real estate marketing and property showcase content.
- Experience creating high-performing short-form social media content.
