Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Spray Painter with experience in painting steel/metal doors. The candidate will be responsible for surface preparation, paint application, and delivering high-quality finishing for premium steel doors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare steel door surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, and degreasing
- Apply putty, primer, base coat, and final coat as per standards
- Operate spray guns and painting equipment efficiently
- Ensure smooth, even coating with proper thickness and finish
- Handle PU, enamel, and powder coating processes (if required)
- Perform masking for designs, edges, and hardware areas
- Inspect finished doors for defects and perform touch-ups
- Maintain tools, spray guns, and painting booth cleanliness
- Follow safety procedures and use PPE (mask, gloves, etc.)
- Coordinate with production team to meet daily targets
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in spray painting (steel/metal preferred)
- Experience in steel doors, windows, or fabrication industry
- Knowledge of surface preparation and finishing techniques
- Ability to mix paints and match colors accurately
- Understanding of paint defects and correction methods
- Physically fit and able to work in factory conditions
