CSSD Technician
Reputed Super Speciality Hospital | Vadodara, Gujarat
A reputed Super Speciality Hospital in Vadodara is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented CSSD Technician to join its Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD). The ideal candidate will be responsible for the cleaning, sterilization, storage, and distribution of medical and surgical instruments in accordance with hospital protocols and infection control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, disinfect, inspect, pack, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment.
- Operate autoclaves, ETO sterilizers, and other sterilization equipment as per standard operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate sterilization records and documentation.
- Ensure proper storage and distribution of sterile supplies to various departments.
- Monitor sterilization indicators and maintain quality assurance standards.
- Follow infection control policies and CSSD protocols.
- Coordinate with Operation Theatre, ICU, and other clinical departments regarding instrument requirements.
- Ensure timely availability of sterile instruments and consumables.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Diploma / Certification in CSSD Technology or Operation Theatre Technology preferred.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in CSSD within a hospital setting.
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control practices, and CSSD operations.
- Familiarity with autoclaves, ETO sterilization, and sterile processing procedures.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
Salary:
₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month
