Job Title: Transport Incharge (School)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily school transport operations (buses, routes, schedules).
- Plan and optimize routes for efficiency, safety, and cost control.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop of students and staff.
- Maintain discipline, safety protocols, and student conduct in buses.
- Supervise drivers, conductors, and transport staff.
- Ensure all vehicles comply with RTO norms, permits, insurance, and fitness certificates.
- Maintain records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and repairs.
- Coordinate regular servicing and emergency breakdown handling.
- Address parent complaints and transport-related issues promptly.
- Ensure GPS tracking systems and safety measures (CCTV, first aid, fire extinguisher) are functional.
- Conduct periodic safety audits and staff training.
Eligibility & Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in school transport management.
- Knowledge of transport regulations, safety norms, and documentation.
- Strong administrative and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage teams and handle emergencies efficiently.
Preferred Skills:
- Route planning & logistics management
- Crisis handling & problem-solving
- Basic computer skills (Excel, transport software)
- Good communication and discipline management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10,903.89 - ₹20,000.00 per month
Experience:
- Transportation management: 4 years (Preferred)
