Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm & Safety Engineer to manage the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), CCTV Surveillance Systems, Public Address (PA) Systems, Fire Sprinkler Systems, and related safety infrastructure. The candidate should possess strong technical expertise in fire safety and security systems within commercial, industrial, and corporate environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, test, and commission FAS (Fire Alarm Systems).
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of fire alarm panels, detectors, MCPs, hooters, and notification devices.
- Install and maintain CCTV Surveillance Systems, including cameras, NVRs, DVRs, and monitoring stations.
- Support IT infrastructure related to security and safety systems, including network connectivity and device integration.
- Inspect, test, and coordinate maintenance activities for Fire Sprinkler Systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot PA (Public Address) Systems for emergency announcements and communication.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and system health checks.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure compliance with fire and safety regulations, standards, and client requirements.
- Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project teams for smooth project execution.
- Respond to emergency breakdown calls and provide timely resolution.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of FAS, CCTV, PA Systems, Sprinkler Systems, and IT Networking.
- Experience in installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of safety and security systems.
- Understanding of fire safety standards and emergency communication systems.
- Knowledge of structured cabling, networking, and system integration.
- Ability to read technical drawings and project documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and reporting abilities.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Fire & Safety Engineering, IT, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in Fire & Safety or Security Systems are preferred.
