Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Assistant Accountant to support daily accounting operations, maintain financial records, and assist in billing, reconciliation, and reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and records
- Handle purchase, sales, and expense entries
- Assist in GST, TDS, and invoice management
- Prepare vouchers, bills, and payment records
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger verification
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments
- Support monthly reporting and documentation work
- Maintain proper filing and record management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and taxation
- Familiarity with Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to manage records and documentation efficiently
Preferred Skills
- Experience in GST filing and invoice processing
- Knowledge of stock/account reconciliation
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
