Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled PLC Software Engineer with experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, HMI development, and production monitoring systems. The candidate should have strong knowledge in factory automation, machine logic development, SCADA/PMS systems, and PLC communication architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain PLC & HMI programs using Ladder Logic, STL, and related programming languages.
- Handle communication and interfacing with modules such as RS485, RS232, Ethernet, and multiple PLC systems.
- Work on factory automation projects with distributed architecture and multi-vendor PLC interfacing.
- Understand machine logic and develop Production Monitoring Systems (PMS) for production and performance tracking.
- Design and develop GUI interfaces for PMS systems.
- Create operation manuals and software sequence documentation.
- Support service and commissioning teams during machine startup and troubleshooting activities.
- Conduct in-house testing and simulation of PLC programs based on project requirements.
- Maintain project documentation, software revisions, corrections, and online support records.
- Ensure confidentiality of project-related software and technical information.
- Complete projects within timelines and provide daily progress updates.
- Define hardware and software requirements for automation and PMS systems.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in PLC Programming and HMI Development
- Knowledge of SCADA / Production Monitoring Systems
- Experience with industrial communication protocols
- Understanding of machine automation and control systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and support automation systems
- Documentation and reporting skills
- Team collaboration and project coordination abilities
