We are looking for a skilled Web Designer / Developer who can handle the complete website lifecycle — from concept and design to development, customization, and maintenance.
- Design clean, modern, and user-friendly website interfaces
- Develop fully responsive websites using various platforms like WordPress, Shopify, Magento
- Build, customize, and optimize WooCommerce stores (products, checkout, payments, shipping, etc.), Develop e-commerce website using Big commerce, Magento or Shopify
- Write clean, semantic, and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript
- Create custom layouts, themes, templates, and functionality as needed
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, cross-browser compatible, and accessible
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and basic SEO
- Troubleshoot and resolve design, layout, and technical issues
- Collaborate with clients and team members to gather requirements and deliver projects on time
- Maintain, update, and improve existing websites
- Implement best practices for security, coding standards, and website performance
Required Skills & Qualifications
Design Skills
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and spacing
- Ability to create modern, clean, and conversion-focused designs
- Experience with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar)
- Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first approach
- Advanced experience with WordPress (theme customization, plugins, custom post types)
- Expert-level knowledge of Elementor (including Theme Builder, custom widgets, and advanced styling)
- Experience with other page builders (Gutenberg, Bricks, Oxygen, or similar) is a plus
- Strong hands-on experience with WooCommerce (store setup, product management, cart & checkout customization, payment gateways, shipping methods)
- Ability to customize WooCommerce templates and functionality using PHP and hooks
Front-End Development
- Solid knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid, animations, transitions)
- Good understanding of JavaScript and jQuery
- Experience with responsive frameworks or libraries (Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of modern front-end practices (accessibility, semantic markup)
Back-End & PHP
- Practical knowledge of PHP for WordPress theme and plugin customization
- Understanding of WordPress hooks, filters, template hierarchy, and coding standards
- Ability to write clean, secure, and reusable PHP code
Other Technical Skills
- Website performance optimization (caching, image optimization, Core Web Vitals)
- Basic SEO knowledge (on-page SEO, schema, meta tags, sitemaps)
- Familiarity with version control (Git)
- Experience with website security best practices and basic troubleshooting
- Knowledge of hosting environments, DNS, SSL, and domain management is a plus
Preferred / Additional Skills
- Experience with custom Elementor widgets or advanced PHP/JS integrations
- Knowledge of REST API or basic headless WordPress concepts
- Familiarity with animation libraries (GSAP, AOS, Lottie)
- Experience with email marketing tools or CRM integrations
- Basic understanding of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console)
- Multilingual website experience (WPML, Polylang)
- Knowledge of page speed tools (GTmetrix, PageSpeed Insights, Query Monitor)
