Position: SCM Development Specialist
Experience: 4 to 5Years

Reporting To: SCM Head
The Supplier Development Specialist serves as the primary bridge between internal teams (like Engineering, Procurement, and Quality Control) and external business partners. The main goal is to reduce supply chain risks, cut down on production delays, and ensure every batch of materials matches strict quality standard rules Key Responsibilities.
1) Key Responsibilities
-Review PPAP submissions for completeness and compliance with AIAG and customer requirements.
-Validate dimensional data, control plans, FMEAs, material certifications, testing, and MSA results.
-Coordinate with suppliers to resolve documentation gaps and drive corrective actions.
-Track PPAP status and escalate risks or delays.
-Prepare Part Submission Warrants and approval documentation.
-Maintain accurate PPAP records and revision control.
-Support audits, launch readiness, and design/process changes.
-Review capability studies, Gage R&R, and process validation data.
-Manage interim approvals and supplier resubmissions.
-Initiate and support supplier corrective actions (SCARs) and root cause analysis.
-Provide in plant supplier quality support where needed.
2)Required Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree with three (3) or more years in quality, supplier quality, or PPAP coordination.
-Working knowledge of AIAG Core Tools (PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
-Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
-Experience reviewing dimensional reports, certifications, and validation documentation.
-Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality/document management systems.
3) Preferred Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.
-Certifications in quality or AIAG Core Tools.
-Experience with QMS systems, supplier portals, or PPAP platforms.
-Familiarity with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949.
-Experience with statistical analysis and process capability.
Background in manufacturing or supplier quality environments.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Understanding of PPAP requirements and supplier documentation expectations.
-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Effective cross-functional collaboration and supplier communication.
-Ability to identify issues and drive timely resolution.
4)Work Environment
-Primarily supplier and plant coordination with regular interaction with manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers. Occasional travel may be required.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
