Job Title: Project Coordinator – In-house & Scheme Certification

Role Summary
The Project Coordinator will manage certification activities for payment switch products, including internal testing, scheme certification, and release readiness.
The role will coordinate across product,engineering, QA, operations, vendors, certification labs, and card networks such as Visa, Mastercard,and RuPay. Payment switch platforms commonly operate in ISO 8583 format and may require directconnectivity with card schemes as part of certification and processing.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate end-to-end certification projects for switch-based payment products, including
in-house testing and scheme certification.
Track certification timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issue resolution.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, card schemes, and external labs/vendors for test
planning and scheduling.
Maintain certification trackers, test evidence, defect logs, and sign-off documentation.
Support preparation of test cases, sample transaction packs, flow validation, and
certification artifacts.
Follow up on defect fixes, retesting, and closure of issues during certification cycles.
Ensure readiness of switch configuration, API/ISO 8583 messages, merchant setup, and
settlement/reconciliation validations.
Prepare weekly/monthly status reports for management and stakeholders.
Support go-live planning, post-certification handover, and production release coordination.
Maintain compliance with applicable scheme rules, security requirements, and internal
governance standards.
Required Skills
Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Good understanding of payment switch processes and transaction lifecycle.
Familiarity with card scheme certification processes.
Knowledge of ISO 8583, payment APIs, testing cycles, and defect tracking.
Strong documentation and follow-up abilities.
Good command of MS Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience
2–5 years of experience in payments, fintech, banking technology, or switching platforms.
Prior exposure to Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, NPCI, or POS/device certification.
Experience with payment gateway or acquiring switch environments.
Exposure to reconciliation, settlement, and release coordination.
Basic understanding of PCI DSS and payment security concepts.
Educational Qualification
Graduate in any discipline; preferred: B.Com, BCA, B.Sc., B.Tech, MBA, or equivalent.
Success Measures
Certification delivered within planned timelines.
Minimal defects during certification and UAT cycles.
Timely closure of blockers and stakeholder updates.
Smooth go-live handover after certification approval.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
