Position: Mother Teacher
Department: Pre- Primary Section
Salary: 10 to 12K in hand
Role Summary
The Mother Teacher is responsible for the overall academic, emotional, social, and behavioral development of students in the primary grades. As the primary class teacher, they teach multiple subjects in accordance with the CBSE curriculum, create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, and act as the key point of contact for students and parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum and school policies.
- Teach multiple subjects, including English, Mathematics, EVS, and other assigned subjects.
- Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive classroom environment that supports holistic development.
- Monitor and assess students' academic performance, behavior, and overall progress.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, report cards, and student portfolios.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate support and remediation.
- Encourage creativity, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration through interactive teaching methods.
- Maintain classroom discipline using positive behavior management strategies.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, concerns, and achievements.
- Organize and participate in assemblies, co-curricular activities, school events, field trips, and parent-teacher meetings.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices into classroom instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, and school leadership to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and emotional security of every child.
- Participate in professional development programs, workshops, and training sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- D.El.Ed./B.El.Ed. may be considered as per CBSE norms.
