Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Career Guidance Executive to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for understanding students’ career goals, providing guidance about suitable courses and career paths, handling student inquiries, and supporting the admission process.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and an interest in education, training, and career development.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and professionals regarding suitable courses, training programs, and career opportunities.
- Understand students’ educational backgrounds, interests, skills, and career objectives.
- Provide accurate information about courses, internships, training programs, duration, and career prospects.
- Handle inquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins, and other communication channels.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert inquiries into admissions.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with leads and update lead status in the CRM/database.
- Build positive relationships with students and parents.
- Assist students throughout the admission and enrollment process.
- Achieve assigned counseling and admission targets.
- Coordinate with the training and academic teams to ensure smooth student onboarding.
- Maintain records of student interactions, follow-ups, and admissions.
- Stay updated about courses, industry trends, and career opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 0–2 years of experience in career counseling, education counseling, inside sales, admissions, or a related field.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills are welcome to apply.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and convincing skills.
- Strong follow-up and relationship-building abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Ability to understand students’ requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
