Picking/Packing Duties
- Locating items: Navigating the warehouse using paper picking slips or handheld barcode scanners to find the exact products ordered.
- Verifying inventory: Confirming the product number, color, and quantity match the customer's order to ensure high accuracy.
- Quality inspection: Checking items for damage, defects, or missing parts before taking them to the packing stationCore Packing Duties
- Selecting materials: Choosing the correct size and type of box, envelope, or padded mailer to minimize shipping costs and protect the items.
- Securing the package: Wrapping items and adding protective cushioning (such as bubble wrap or packing paper) to prevent shifting or breakage during transit.
- Labeling and sealing: Taping boxes shut, printing and applying shipping labels, and weighing packages to meet carrier requirements
Additional Warehouse Responsibilities
- Inventory management: Assisting with stocktaking, conducting regular cycle counts, and restocking shelves when supplies run low.
- Equipment operation: Using manual or motorized equipment like pallet jacks, forklifts, or shrink-wrap machines to move heavy loads.
- Workplace safety: Complying with OSHA guidelines and maintaining a clean, hazard-free workspace
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
