About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Associate who can take ownership of a product area from discovery to launch and beyond.
You will work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and leadership to understand user needs, define product priorities, deliver meaningful features, and measure their impact.
This is an ownership-driven product role, not a support or coordination position. You will be expected to make decisions, manage priorities, drive execution, and take responsibility for product outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own a defined product area end-to-end, from discovery through launch and post-launch improvement.
- Conduct user research through interviews, feedback, support insights, app reviews, and competitor analysis.
- Translate user and business needs into clear product requirements, PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog and make clear scope and sequencing decisions.
- Work closely with engineering and design throughout planning, development, testing, and release.
- Drive product launches, including QA, release notes, stakeholder communication, and coordination with relevant teams.
- Monitor product performance after launch and use data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Define and track metrics such as activation, engagement, retention, feature adoption, and conversion.
- Build and maintain dashboards and use analytics to identify user drop-offs and product opportunities.
- Conduct experiments and make data-driven decisions when the right approach is unclear.
- Support customer, sales, and onboarding conversations when product expertise is required.
- Maintain a high quality bar and actively test features before release.
- Consider user privacy, moderation, safeguarding, and trust when designing product experiences.
- Use AI tools effectively for research, analysis, documentation, prototyping, and product workflows.
- Contribute to AI-assisted product features while understanding the risks and limitations of AI-generated outputs.
- Mentor Product Associates and interns and help improve product practices, documentation, and processes.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 4–7 years of overall professional experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a product role with direct ownership of shipped product outcomes.
- Proven experience taking features from problem identification through launch and measurement.
- Experience with mobile applications and/or B2B SaaS products.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to create clear and concise product documentation.
- Good understanding of product analytics, funnels, cohorts, retention, and user behaviour.
- Basic SQL knowledge or strong experience with analytics tools.
- Hands-on experience with Agile product development, backlog management, sprint planning, and release management.
- Practical experience using AI tools in day-to-day product work.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to make decisions independently and work effectively with incomplete information.
- Strong ownership, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Genuine interest in building products for mission-driven communities and organizations.
Good to Have
- Experience in community, nonprofit, education, or mission-driven technology.
- Experience with payments, donations, subscriptions, or billing platforms.
- Knowledge of community moderation, trust & safety, or content policy.
- Familiarity with Figma and product/project management tools.
- Previous experience in QA, customer support, or user research.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
