Job Summary:
Ensuring Team Performance in ensuring Organizational Goals
1. Introduction and implementation of latest technology in all areas of work.
2. Technical review of drawing against specifications and review with CFT.
3. Implementation of inputs from CFT and Customer
4. Inspection of Fixtures and Approval before Prove Outs.
5. Taking responsibility of pilot batches, recording the observations and taking corrective actions.
6. Conduct Process Capability study and take Necessary actions to streamline the Process.
7. Optimizing the Machining cycle times to increase productivity.
8. Verification and validation of product and the process. Mistake proofing of processes
9. Proactively involve with Production for reducing set up change time (Single minute exchange of Dies — SMED) to increase the Machine Utilization.
Vital Competency Requirements For Effective Performance:
1. Should be An Engineering Graduate/ Diploma/ ITI with 5 to 10 years of experience in New Product Development
2. Ability to incorporate customer requirements in Technical Data
3. Passion to set higher targets and zeal to exceed the set targets,
4. Expertise on entire production processes and control of process parameters,
5. Knowledge on Methods of calculating Lead time required for production of various Machined components,
6. Knowledge on CAD and incorporation of customer requirements in engineering drawings.
7. Knowledge on Machining.
8. Knowledge on cost calculation and cost reducing techniques,
9. Excellent Analytical skill to identify the root cause for deviations and defects,
10. Knowledge on IS standards related to Machining and Drawing readings
11. Knowledge on lead time of various quality parameters and standards of purchased items and outsourced components/items,
