About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Operations Support Executive to join our freight forwarding and customs clearance team. This is a backend operations role - you will not be client-facing, but the accuracy and timeliness of your work directly affects how well the team serves its clients. If you enjoy working with data, maintaining clean records, and keeping things organised while a busy operations team moves fast around you, this role is built for you.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Update pre-alert shipment information in our internal system (Shakti) as soon as it is received, and ensure shipment data remains accurate and current at all times.
- Prepare and circulate the daily shipment status report to the management and operations team every day without fail - on time, accurate, and clearly formatted.
- Before any shipment data is entered into the system, verify the key details - container number, vessel name, ETA, and client information - against the source documents. Do not enter data that has not been verified.
- Assist the operations team with documentation updates and system entries as shipments progress through their lifecycle.
- Provide direct operational support to senior team members for shipment tracking, coordination tasks, and documentation when required.
- Maintain organised digital records of all shipment documents, reports, and operational data, structured clearly enough that any team member can find what they need without asking you.
Pay: ₹10,822.97 - ₹25,471.16 per month
