Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Application Support & Release Validation Engineer (L2) with 2+ years of experience in application support, troubleshooting, and release validation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing production issues, validating releases, executing test scenarios, and supporting root cause analysis to ensure application stability and smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Analyze and troubleshoot issues escalated from L1 support teams
Review application and server logs to identify and diagnose issues
Execute SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting
Reproduce reported issues and document findings clearly
Support root cause analysis activities in coordination with senior engineers and development teams
Execute end-to-end test scenarios and regression testing during release cycles
Validate fixes and application functionality after deployments
Document issues, troubleshooting steps, test cases, and validation results
Collaborate with development, QA, and support teams to ensure timely issue resolution
Ensure adherence to support processes, release procedures, and quality standards
Required Skills :
Basic knowledge of Java (Spring framework preferred)
Working knowledge of SQL (MS SQL / Oracle)
Understanding of REST APIs and JSON
Basic understanding of application logs and debugging techniques
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced support environment
Preferred Skills :
Exposure to production support environments
Experience in release validation and regression testing
Familiarity with ticketing and incident management tools
Basic understanding of SDLC and support processes Role Boundaries
Analyze and troubleshoot issues with guidance from senior engineers
Coordinate with development teams for code fixes and permanent resolutions
Focus on support, validation, and issue analysis activities rather than development changes

Timely analysis and response to production issues
Accuracy and quality of issue documentation
Contribution to release validation and testing activities
Reduction of repeat issues through effective troubleshooting and learning
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
