Job Summary:
Chavda Infra Limited is looking for an experienced HR Manager to handle end-to-end HR functions, including recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and HR operations. The role focuses on entire HR Gamut, managing workforce operations, and ensuring smooth coordination with management and project teams to support business operations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development, follow ups, and exit processes.
- Lead overall HR operations, including onboarding, documentation, induction, issuance of letters (Appointment letters, increment letter, experience letters, salary slips, etc.), and exit formalities.
- Supervise and drive recruitment and talent acquisition as per business requirements.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviews, salary negotiations, and candidate finalization with a focus on cost optimization.
- Act as a key point of contact for employee relations, resolving grievances of employees, managers, and HODs through counselling and providing solutions.
- Accurately processing monthly payroll including tracking attendance, leave records, LOPs, loan EMI deductions, other payroll inputs, preparing salary statements, and all bank transfer statements.
- Monitor and control staff cost vs. projected budgets, ensuring alignment with tendering and financial planning.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce employee attrition and improve retention of high-performing talent.
- Draft and implement HR policies, company notices, and circulars, ensuring proper approval workflows and organization-wide communication.
- Maintain and update employee data in HRMS, insurance records, and related MIS reports.
- Prepare and release offer letters, salary annexures, and employment communication.
- Manage joining formalities and induction programs for new hires.
- Execute and manage the end-to-end Performance Management System (PMS) cycle.
- Plan and organize company events, meetings, and employee engagement activities.
- Manage internal employee transfers and manpower allocation across projects as per business needs.
- Lead and supervise admin staff, ensuring productivity and task completion at Head Office.
- Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to HR team members, especially junior staff.
- Ensure effective coordination with management, HODs, project managers, and employees for smooth HR and operational functioning.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in HR operations, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or similar industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end Employee lifecycle management, including recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and compliance.
- Hands-on experience in payroll processing, HRMS, attendance management, and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, etc.).
- Proven ability in talent acquisition, salary negotiation, and manpower planning .
- Experience in handling employee grievances, retention strategies, and performance management systems (PMS).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate with management, HODs, and project teams effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and HR-related software/tools.
