Technical Writer

We are looking for a skilled Technical Writer to join our team and bridge the gap between complex technical concepts and user-friendly documentation. Your primary goal will be to create high-quality user documentation, API documentation, and tutorials that help our users (external and internal users) succeed with our products and services.
Role Description & Responsibilities

Under general guidance and supervision, the Technical Writer will be responsible for generating internal, and user facing documentation that supports the CIS team deliveries and accompanies a software product.

Create, draft, edit, and maintain clear and concise documentation, including User Guides, Integration Manuals, and Release Notes.

Synthesize complex technical knowledge, collaborate with engineers, project managers, and product managers to understand product functionality and translate technical specifications into plain English.

Maintain a consistent style and voice across all documentation, adhering to company branding and industry standards.

Organize documentation sets in a logical flow to ensure ease of navigation and searchability.

Gather feedback from users and support teams to identify gaps in existing documentation and proactively address them.

Perform product research and learn domain terminology for the assigned product.

Collaborate with the translation team on deliveries.

Provides daily updates of your tasks/projects, and proactively escalate issues to your Lead

Ensures tasks are completed on-time with high quality standards

Effectively manages multiple projects and tasks, focusing on timely implementations while adapting as priorities shift

Understands and keep abreast of latest Medidata Products and their functionality and features

Networks with key contacts within the delivery unit and outside their own area of expertise.

Ensures that all relevant Medidata SOPs and WIs are followed
