We are a fast-growing team of 35+ tech professionals building enterprise software, web & mobile applications, and AI-powered automation solutions for clients across India and globally. We are now looking for a sharp, driven, and results-oriented Sales & Marketing Head to lead our revenue growth and brand presence.
Role Summary
The Sales & Marketing Head will own Cord4's complete go-to-market strategy — from generating leads and closing deals to building the brand and establishing Cord4 as the most trusted AI-powered IT partner for businesses. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, business development, and brand building in a fast-growing tech company.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Own the end-to-end sales pipeline — from lead generation to deal closure
- Identify, approach, and convert new clients across target segments (SMBs, mid-market, enterprises)
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads via LinkedIn, cold outreach, referrals, and events
- Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and pitch decks tailored to client needs
- Negotiate and close contracts; manage client expectations through the handover to the delivery team
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets set in alignment with the CEO
- Develop and manage channel partnerships, resellers, and referral networks
Marketing & Brand Building
- Define and execute Cord4's marketing strategy across digital and offline channels
- Email Marketing, Social Media Marketing.
- Oversee content marketing — LinkedIn, website blogs, case studies, and thought leadership
- Plan and run performance marketing campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads) with measurable ROI
- Build Cord4's employer and client brand — positioning it as the go-to AI-powered IT partner
- Manage Cord4's social media presence and ensure consistent, high-quality brand communication
- Drive PR efforts — press releases, media coverage, industry awards, and speaking opportunities
- Plan and represent Cord4 at industry events, tech meetups, and networking forums
Strategy & Leadership
- Define ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) and develop targeted outreach strategies for each segment
- Set up and optimise CRM — track leads, pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts
- Work closely with the CEO and delivery team to align sales promises with delivery capabilities
- Hire, onboard, and mentor a small sales & marketing team as the company scales
- Present weekly sales updates and monthly marketing reports to the CEO
- Analyse market trends, competitor positioning, and identify new growth opportunities
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or any relevant field
- MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development is preferred but not mandatory
Experience
- 3 to 7 years of proven experience in B2B , B2C, Sales, Business Development, or Marketing in an IT / Tech company
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets consistently
- Prior experience selling IT services, software development, SaaS, or digital transformation solutions is strongly preferred
- Experience working with startups or fast-growing SMB IT companies is a strong advantage
Skills
- Strong understanding of the IT services / product industry and client buying behaviour
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English and Hindi
- Proficient in CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or similar)
- Working knowledge of digital marketing — SEO, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, content marketing
- Ability to independently manage end-to-end sales cycle with minimal hand-holding
- Strong analytical mindset — comfortable with sales dashboards, pipeline metrics, and revenue reporting
- High ownership mentality — takes accountability for outcomes, not just activities
Good to Have — Preferred Attributes
- Experience selling to international clients (US, UK, UAE, Australia markets)
- Understanding of AI / ML solutions, cloud services, or emerging tech products
- Active LinkedIn presence or personal brand in the tech / sales community
- Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies
- Gujarati language fluency is an added advantage for local market outreach
