Job Summary
The Food & Beverage Guest Service Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests by providing courteous, efficient, and professional service in restaurant, banquet, and room service operations. The role ensures adherence to service standards, hygiene protocols, and operational procedures to maintain high guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Guest Service & Dining Experience
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Escort guests to tables when required and assist with seating arrangements.
- Present menus clearly and provide detailed explanations of menu items, daily specials, and beverages.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them correctly into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently following proper service sequence.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to requests and resolving concerns politely.
- Maintain attentive yet unobtrusive service throughout the dining experience.
2. Service Operations
- Prepare tables with proper linens, cutlery, crockery, glassware, and condiments before service.
- Follow established F&B service standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Clear tables promptly after guests finish and reset them for the next service.
- Assist in buffet setup, replenishment, cleanliness, and monitoring during service hours.
- Ensure service stations are stocked with required supplies at all times.
3. Room Service Operations
- Receive room service orders politely and confirm details (room number and guest name).
- Deliver orders within standard timelines while maintaining presentation quality.
- Ensure trays and trolleys are set correctly and professionally.
- Collect trays/trolleys after service completion in a timely manner.
- Ensure proper count and care of all equipment, cutlery, crockery, and service items.
4. Hygiene, Safety & Cleanliness
- Maintain cleanliness of restaurant areas, service stations, and equipment.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards as per resort guidelines.
- Handle glassware, crockery, and service equipment carefully to prevent breakage.
- Comply with health, fire, and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain personal grooming and hygiene standards as per company policy.
5. Team Coordination
- Coordinate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery.
- Communicate guest preferences, allergies, and feedback to supervisors.
- Assist in banquet functions, special events, and resort activities when required.
- Support colleagues during peak service hours to ensure smooth operations.
6. Billing & Records
- Prepare and present bills accurately when assigned.
- Handle payments (cash, card, room charge) as per company procedures.
- Ensure correct posting of orders in the POS system.
- Maintain proper documentation and records as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum: 12th Pass / Diploma in Hotel Management preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in hotel / restaurant / resort F&B operations
- Basic knowledge of food & beverage service standards
- Familiarity with POS systems preferred

Salary Offered
- Rs. 15,000 - 18,000 (In-hand) + Food & Accommodation
