SEO Engineer
Role Overview
We are looking for an SEO Engineer to improve our website's search engine visibility, organic traffic, and technical SEO performance. The ideal candidate should understand both SEO strategy and technical website optimization.
Responsibilities
- Perform technical SEO audits and implement fixes.
- Manage Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Create and maintain XML sitemaps and robots.txt files.
- Optimize website structure, metadata, schema markup, and internal linking.
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Monitor website indexing, crawlability, and search rankings.
- Improve Core Web Vitals and page performance.
- Implement on-page SEO best practices.
- Build and manage backlink strategies.
- Track SEO KPIs and prepare performance reports.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and content teams.
- Identify and resolve SEO-related technical issues.
- Analyze website traffic, user behavior, and conversion metrics.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm updates and SEO trends.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Technical SEO.
- Experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website architecture.
- Experience with keyword research tools and SEO platforms.
- Understanding of sitemap.xml, robots.txt, schema markup, and indexing.
- Knowledge of Core Web Vitals and website performance optimization.
- Understanding of on-page, off-page, and local SEO.
- Ability to analyze data and identify SEO opportunities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS-hosted websites.
- Knowledge of CloudFront, CDN, and web performance optimization.
- Familiarity with React, Next.js, WordPress, or modern web frameworks.
- Experience with backlink outreach and off-page SEO.
- Basic understanding of web development and deployment workflows.
