About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Intern to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced QA Engineers and developers to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of web, mobile, Salesforce, and .NET applications. This internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world software testing practices and provides an opportunity to develop industry-relevant QA skills, with the potential for a full-time position based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases to validate application functionality.
- Identify, document, and report software defects accurately.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
- Create, maintain, and update test cases and test documentation.
- Collaborate with QA Engineers and developers to resolve issues.
- Follow QA processes, testing standards, and best practices.
- Participate in testing web, mobile, Salesforce, and .NET applications.
- Continuously learn and apply software testing concepts and tools.
Skills
- Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts.
- Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
- Basic understanding of manual testing techniques.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of SQL and API testing (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace for documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (completed or pursuing final year) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Completion of a software testing course or certification is an added advantage.
- Eagerness to learn and build a career in Software Quality Assurance.
