Navthera is a specialised physiotherapy and rehabilitation centre in Jaipur delivering evidence-based care across Neuro Rehab, Aquatherapy, Sports & Ortho, and Comprehensive Rehabilitation. We are building a technology-forward, outcomes-driven model of rehab care — and Neuro Rehabilitation is at the heart of it.
We are hiring a Head of Neuro Rehabilitation to lead, build, and scale our neuro department from the ground up. This is not a role where you inherit a department — you shape it.
What You'll Do
Clinical Leadership
- Assess and treat patients with neurological conditions including stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, Guillain-Barré syndrome, and peripheral neuropathies.
- Design and implement standardised treatment protocols and clinical pathways for neuro rehabilitation.
- Conduct detailed neurological assessments using validated outcome measures (FIM, NIHSS, Berg Balance Scale, 6MWT, etc.) and track patient progress systematically.
- Integrate advanced modalities — neuromuscular electrical stimulation, task-oriented training, balance and gait retraining, aquatherapy-based neuro protocols — into treatment plans.
- Stay current with emerging evidence in neuroplasticity, motor relearning, and neurorehabilitation technology.
Department Building
- Build the neuro rehab department: define service scope, patient flow, documentation standards, and outcome tracking systems.
- Recruit, train, and mentor junior physiotherapists and interns rotating through the neuro unit.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for assessment, treatment, discharge planning, and follow-up.
Quality & Growth
- Maintain clinical documentation to the highest standard — every patient's journey should be measurable and auditable.
- Contribute to case presentations, internal CMEs, and knowledge-sharing sessions with the wider clinical team.
Who We're Looking For
Required
- MPT in Neurology / Neuro Physiotherapy from a recognised university.
- 5–10 years of clinical experience in neurological rehabilitation, with demonstrated ability to manage complex neuro cases independently.
- Strong foundation in neuroanatomy, motor control theories, and evidence-based neuro rehab approaches
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior therapists or interns.
- Excellent patient communication skills in Hindi and English.
- A hands-on clinician first — someone who leads by treating, not just directing.
Preferred
- Prior experience setting up or scaling a neuro rehab unit or department.
- Exposure to aquatic therapy for neurological conditions.
- Fellowship, certification, or advanced training in neurorehabilitation
- Publications, conference presentations, or involvement in clinical research.
- Registration with the relevant State Physiotherapy Council / IAP membership.
