About the RoleWe are looking for a Customer Support Engineer – Medical Equipment to provide installation, technical support, maintenance, and customer training for a range of medical devices and healthcare equipment. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and a willingness to travel to customer locations for support activities.
A structured 3-month training program will be provided to familiarize the candidate with the company's products, service procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and customer support processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Support & Service Provide prompt and professional technical support to customers regarding medical equipment operation and performance.
Attend customer service requests and resolve equipment-related issues within defined timelines.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and rectify technical issues at customer locations.
Coordinate with internal technical teams for issue escalation and resolution.
Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, biomedical teams, hospitals, diagnostic centers, and clinics.
Installation & Commissioning Install, configure, test, and commission medical equipment at customer sites.
Conduct equipment inspections and performance verification before handover.
Ensure installations comply with company quality standards and manufacturer guidelines.
Complete installation documentation and customer acceptance reports.
Preventive Maintenance & Service Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and periodic service activities.
Identify potential equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure optimal equipment functionality and minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate service logs and maintenance records.
Product Demonstration & Training Demonstrate equipment features and functionality to customers.
Train doctors, nurses, technicians, and end-users on equipment operation and basic maintenance.
Conduct refresher training and customer education programs as required.
Provide technical guidance and operational support to customers.
Documentation & Reporting Prepare service reports, installation reports, maintenance records, and customer visit reports.
Update CRM and internal service management systems regularly.
Maintain accurate records of service calls, warranty claims, and customer feedback.
Submit periodic activity and performance reports to management.
Customer Relationship Management Serve as a trusted technical support partner for customers.
Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
Gather customer feedback and support continuous service improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with the sales team to support customer retention and satisfaction.
Training Program (First 3 Months)The selected candidate will receive hands-on training covering:
Medical equipment product knowledge.
Installation and commissioning procedures.
Technical troubleshooting and diagnostics.
Preventive maintenance practices.
Customer support and service excellence.
Documentation and reporting standards.
Healthcare industry practices and compliance requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.
Freshers and candidates with up to 3 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
