Job Purpose
The Junior Executive – Online Selling supports the day-to-day operations of the brand's presence on e-commerce marketplaces such as Myntra and Flipkart. The role covers three core areas: keeping online seller panels accurate and up to date, coordinating with marketplace teams on sale events and campaigns, and supporting pricing and margin decisions across the catalog.
Key Responsibility Area 1: Online Panel Management
- Update and maintain product listings on Myntra, Flipkart and other marketplace seller panels — titles, descriptions, images, size charts, and category attributes.
- Upload new styles/SKUs to the catalog and ensure article type, size, and color mapping is accurate on the panel.
- Monitor and correct listing errors, content rejections, and quality score flags raised by the portals.
- Keep inventory counts, sellable quantities, and warehouse allocations on the seller panel aligned with actual stock.
- Track and action portal notifications — catalog updates, compliance requirements, listing deactivations.
- Maintain records of SKU codes, style IDs, and seller SKU mapping across portals for internal reconciliation.
Key Responsibility Area 2: Marketplace & Event Coordination
- Correspond with Myntra, Flipkart and other portal account/category managers on a regular basis.
- Track upcoming sale events (End of Season Sale, Big Billion Days, brand days, flash sales, etc.) and register/enroll eligible styles within portal deadlines.
- Coordinate style and inventory nominations for events, ensuring stock availability aligns with expected event demand.
- Follow up on portal queries, tickets, and approval requests related to events, promotions, and catalog visibility.
- Share event performance summaries and portal communication updates with the reporting manager.
Key Responsibility Area 3: Pricing Support
- Assist in setting and updating MRP, selling price, and event/discounted pricing on each portal per style and size.
- Track portal-driven price change requests, margin approvals, and competitor pricing inputs shared by the manager.
- Update pricing on the seller panel ahead of scheduled events and revert to standard pricing post-event.
- Maintain a pricing tracker across categories (Track Pants, Trousers, Shorts, Capris, Shrugs) and sizes (including plus and kids sizing) for quick reference.
- Flag pricing discrepancies between portals or against the price list to the reporting manager.
Skills & Competencies
- Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets (formulas, filters, basic data reconciliation).
- Familiarity with e-commerce seller panels (Myntra Partner Portal, Flipkart Seller Hub) is an advantage.
- Good written communication for portal correspondence and internal reporting.
- High attention to detail — accuracy in SKU, price, and inventory data is critical.
- Organized and deadline-driven, able to track multiple event timelines at once.
- Basic understanding of garment categories, sizing, and colorways preferred.
Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline; commerce, fashion merchandising, or retail background preferred.
- Prior internship or work experience in e-commerce, retail, or garment/apparel operations is a plus.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Listing accuracy and uptime across portals (minimal content/rejection errors).
