We are looking for a passionate and result-oriented UPSC Counsellor to guide civil services aspirants regarding UPSC preparation strategies, course selection, mentorship programs, and career planning. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the UPSC examination ecosystem and excellent counselling and communication skills. Prior experience in educational counselling or having appeared for UPSC examinations will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel UPSC aspirants through phone calls, video calls, walk-ins, and webinars.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses, mentorship programs, and preparation plans.
- Guide students on UPSC syllabus, exam pattern, optional subject selection, and preparation strategies.
- Handle inbound and outbound leads and convert prospects into enrollments.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain strong relationships throughout the admission journey.
- Maintain student records, lead status, and counselling data in CRM.
- Coordinate with faculty and academic teams to ensure student satisfaction and retention.
- Stay updated with UPSC notifications, exam trends, and policy changes.
- Conduct seminars, orientation sessions, and counselling workshops for aspirants.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in any discipline.
- 6months - 2 years of experience in Academic Counselling, Admission Counselling, or EdTech Sales.
- Candidate must have appeared for at least one UPSC Civil Services Examination attempt.
- Strong understanding of UPSC CSE examination structure and preparation process.
- Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and persuasion skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Target-driven mindset with a student-first approach.
- Candidates who have appeared for UPSC/State PCS examinations will be preferred.Preferred Skills
