- System Design & Modeling: Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs), layout plans, and 3D shadow analysis for rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems using software like PVsyst, Helioscope, and AutoCAD.
- Site Assessment & Feasibility: Conduct initial site surveys to evaluate structural integrity, shading conditions, grid connectivity, and electrical loads.
- Technical Compliance: Ensure all system designs strictly adhere to local electrical codes, safety regulations, and utility interconnection standards.
- Procurement & Technical Specs: Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM), specify components (inverters, PV modules, mounting structures, cables), and evaluate supplier equipment specs.
- Field Supervision & Quality Control: Coordinate with site teams during installation, perform testing and commissioning, and troubleshoot technical issues during startup.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor energy output from commissioned plants, perform performance ratio (PR) calculations, and recommend system optimizations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in solar PV design, engineering, or site execution.
- Technical Software Proficiency:
