Key Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Manage statutory compliances such as GST, TDS, VAT, or other applicable taxes
- Assist in audits (internal and external) and provide required documentation
- Monitor expenses and support budgeting and cost control initiatives
- Coordinate with other departments for financial data and clarifications
- Support senior management with financial reports and analysis.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred)
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple task
