Founder's Office Intern — D2C Brand Experiments
About the Role
We're building and testing new D2C brand ideas, and we need a sharp, hands-on intern to work directly with the founder on taking concepts from sketch to shelf. This isn't a coffee-fetching internship. You'll own real workstreams across sourcing, research, content, and brand — and see the impact of your work in days, not quarters.
If you've ever wanted to learn how a D2C brand actually gets built (the messy version, not the LinkedIn version), this is that seat.
What You'll Do
Talk to suppliers and manufacturers — get quotes, samples, MOQs, and timelines across categories we're testing. You'll be on calls and WhatsApp chats with vendors across India (and sometimes overseas) figuring out what's possible and at what cost.
Run research sprints on categories, competitors, pricing, customer reviews, and market gaps. We'll often need a clear point of view in 48 hours, not a 40-page deck.
Build marketing content — short-form videos, static creatives, product copy, landing page drafts, email flows. You don't need to be a designer, but you should be comfortable in Canva and willing to learn whatever tool gets the job done.
Run social media — posting, community management, DMs, replying to comments, spotting trends. You'll experiment with what works and report back on what's moving.
Work on branding and packaging — coordinating with designers, reviewing mockups, getting print samples, finalizing dielines with vendors.
Help the founder move faster — basically, if something needs to get done and nobody owns it yet, you might.
Who You Are
You're scrappy and resourceful. You'd rather send 20 cold emails to suppliers than wait for someone to introduce you. You write clearly. You can hold your own on a call with a 50-year-old factory owner in Tier 2 India. You have taste — you can tell good design from bad and know why. You're online enough to know what's trending on Instagram and what's dead. You're okay with ambiguity and don't need detailed briefs for every task.
Bonus if you've run your own side project, college fest, or a small Instagram page that did something interesting.
- Duration: 3–6 months, with potential to convert to a full-time role as a founding member of the final D2C brand we launch.
Pay: ₹8,753.13 - ₹15,000.00 per month
