Job Title: Business Development Executive / Sr. BDE– Bakery Ingredients & FFU
Function: Sales & Business Development
Role Summary
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence for Tropolite’s bakery ingredient portfolio. The role involves developing new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, and strengthening presence in HORECA, QSR, FFU, and bakery segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in bakeries, patisseries, FFU, QSRs, and institutional clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors
- Drive sales targets, revenue growth, and market penetration in the assigned territory
- Promote Tropolite’s range of bakery ingredients, creams, and specialty products
- Conduct product demonstrations and trials in coordination with the culinary/technical team
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
- Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to company policies
- Collaborate with internal teams for order fulfilment, logistics, and customer satisfaction
Key Requirements
- Graduate (MBA preferred)
- 3–7 years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in bakery, food ingredients, Frozen food or FMCG
- Strong exposure to HORECA / QSR / bakery segment / FFU
- Good communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
