Full job description:
- Inspect and perform regular maintenance checks on elevators
- Install and repair elevator mechanisms and electrical wiring to ensure proper functioning
- Respond to emergency call-outs for elevator breakdowns
- Replace faulty or worn-out components such as motors, switches, and control systems
- Maintain service records of all maintenance and repair work carried out
- Communicate with building management regarding elevator performance and safety issues
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians or apprentices.
