Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and creative Colorist to join our post-production team. The Colorist will be responsible for enhancing the visual quality of video content through professional color correction and color grading. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of color theory, cinematic aesthetics, and industry-standard color grading tools to deliver high-quality visuals for films, commercials, digital content, and broadcast projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform color correction and color grading to ensure visual consistency and cinematic quality across all footage.
- Collaborate with directors, cinematographers, editors, and post-production supervisors to achieve the desired visual style.
- Balance shots and match footage from different cameras and lighting conditions.
- Apply creative color treatments to enhance storytelling and mood.
- Ensure proper skin tones, exposure, contrast, and white balance throughout the project.
- Work with RAW, Log, and different camera formats.
- Manage and maintain color pipelines and LUTs.
- Export final graded files according to delivery specifications for OTT, broadcast, and digital platforms.
- Maintain organized project files and backups.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to grading workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film Production, Media, Animation, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Colorist in a post-production environment.
- Strong knowledge of color theory and visual aesthetics.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as:
- DaVinci Resolve
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Final Cut Pro (optional)
- Experience working with RAW footage, Log formats, and LUT workflows.
- Knowledge of HDR, Rec.709, and different color spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and creative judgment.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with commercials, music videos, films, or OTT content.
- Knowledge of VFX and compositing workflows.
- Familiarity with ACES color pipeline.
- Basic understanding of cinematography and lighting.
Experience
2–5 years of experience in color grading or post-production.

- Adobe Creative Suite
- Color grading panels (Blackmagic / Tangent preferred)
