To provide high-quality training in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, enabling students to develop industry-relevant design and drafting skills. The CAD Trainer shall design training modules, conduct practical sessions, assess student performance, and ensure that students are prepared for employment in engineering design roles.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of engineering drawing standards.
- Proficiency in 2D drafting and 3D modelling.
- Assembly modelling and detailing.
- Sheet metal and surface modelling.
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Basic finite element analysis concepts (desirable).
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and laboratory training on CAD software.
- Conduct beginner, intermediate, and advanced CAD training programs.
- Explain engineering drawing standards and drafting principles.
- Provide hands-on training through real-world engineering projects.
- Conduct doubt-clearing sessions and remedial classes whenever required.
- Maintain the CAD laboratory and ensure software licenses are functional.
- Coordinate software installation, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Ensure proper utilization of laboratory resources.
- Maintain equipment, systems, and training records.
- Identify industry requirements and align training accordingly.
- Conduct mock interviews and skill assessments.
Qualifications
- Diploma 0r B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering
- Certification in one or more CAD software packages is desirable.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in CAD training or engineering design.
- Industrial design experience will be an added advantage.
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
